Overview
Chemical composition and pharmacological properties:
The drug contains carboxylic acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, amines, amides, alkyl benzenes, substituted phenols, compounds with active sulfhydryl group and others, water.Oral use provides activating effect on central and vegetative nervous system, promotes gastrointestinal tract motor activity and digestive gland secretion, enhances activity of digestive and tissue enzymes, improves Nа+ and K+ ion penetration through cellular membranes, supports normalization of digestive processes and nutrient intake, as well as increases natural organism resistance.
External use stimulates reticuloendothelial system activity, normalizes trophism, accelerates affected tissue regeneration and has significant antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications:
Antiseptic Dorogov's stimulator 2 fraction (ASD-2F) is intended to treat and prevent diseases of gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and urogenital systems, skin affections and metabolic disorders in farm animals, poultry and carnivorous animals; to promote activity of central and vegetative nervous systems, increase natural resistance in animals with history of infectious and invasion diseases, as well as to stimulate growth and development of growers of farm animals and poultry.Contraindications:
Increased individual sensitivity to the drug components.Dosage and administration:
Oral use of ASD-2F: administer with drinking water before feeding. External use of ASD-2F: administer as 15-20% solutions prepared on the base of sterile physiological saline or boiled water. In order to prepare medical solution of required concentration, take basic ASD-2F sterile solution as 100%. Cows. Vaginitis and retained placenta (after removal): use 3-5% ASD-2F solution. Heat it to 40°С and wash vagina once a day within 4-5 days (1.5-2 l of solution per every processing). If uterine cervix is opened, administer 200-300 ml of solution in uterus and immediately remove it.Acute and chronic endometritis, myometritis and pyometritis: if uterine cervix is opened, administer 200-300 ml of 15% ASD-2F solution (heated to 40°С) in uterine cavity and immediately remove it. Use a backflow catheter for these purposes. Perform a processing once a day within 4-5 days. Trichomoniasis in cows: along with etiotropic treatment administer 20% ASD-2F solution in vagina using Janet syringe with rubber tube and special catheter with multiple terminal holes. Perform treatment once a day within 5-7 days (200-300 ml of solution per every procedure).
Acute trichomoniasis in bulls: along with etiotropic treatment wash preputial sheath with 2-3% ASD-2F solution. Administer 0.5-1.0 l using a catheter connected with Esmarch's irrigator by a rubber tube. Then grip external orifice of preputial sheath for 3-5 minutes and gently massage it. Perform treatment once a day within 5-7 days.
Cattle tympany: rear ASD-2F or administer a single dose in paunch with a gastric tube once or twice a day up to 3 days. Dosage is listed in the table 1. During treatment use warm enemas, paunch massage and other procedures provided for the given pathology.
In order to enhance organism resistance against adverse environmental factors, increase weight gain and decrease mortality in calves, rear ASD-2F with milk or drinking water (0.1 ml of ASD-2F per 1 kg of body weight) every other day within 1-2 months.
Piglets (7 days - 2 months old): individual administration with feed stuff (0.1 ml of ASD-2F per 1 kg of body weight).
Catarrhal pneumonia, dyspepsia, gastroenterocolitis and gastroenteritis in piglets: along with etiotropic treatment, administer ASD-2F with drinking water once a day 30-40 minutes before feeding. Doses are listed in table 1. Treatment courses: by 5 days, 2-3 days apart, till recovery.
Horses intestinal flatulence: rearing or single administration of ASD-2F with a gastric tube. Doses are listed in table 1. During treatment use warm enemas, abdominal massage and other procedures provided for the given pathology. Repeat treatment, if appropriate. Horse strangles and abscesses in submandibular space and other body areas: after previous cleaning wash abscess cavities with 15-20% ASD-2F solution or insert tampons steeped in it once a day within 7-9 days till wound cleaning from pus and granulation appearance. Dyspepsia, gastroenterocolitis, gastroenteritis and dystrophy caused by digestive and metabolic disorders: oral administration of ASD-2F once a day. Single doses are listed in table 1. Treatment courses: by 5 days, 2-3 days apart, till recovery. In order to promote central and vegetative nervous system, enhance natural resistance in animals with a history of infectious and invasion diseases, accelerate skin healing, in necrobacillosis, eczemas, dermatitis and trophic ulcers, use ASD-2F with potable water once a day. Doses are listed in table 1. Treatment courses: by 5 days, 3 days apart, till recovery.

Infected sluggish wounds: wash with 15-20% ASD-2F solution and then apply a dressing moistened with it. Treatment: once or twice a day within 4-5 days till wound cleaning from pus. Fistulas, lanced abscess cavities, phlegmons: insert a gauze drainage moistened with the drug solution and apply a sterile dressing above it. Change it every day until granulation bank is formed.
Poultry: administer to increase organism resistance, promote growth and development; successful immunity formation; in apteriosis; to treat and prevent gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases. Also it is used to increase egg-laying capacity and prevent ovariosalpingitis. Administration schedules and dosage are listed in table 2.

Adverse events:
Adverse events and complications are not generally observed.
Special warnings:
The drug does not exclude administration of other specific or symptomatic medications. Milk of milking animals and eggs can be used without restriction after the drug administration. Meat of compulsorily slaughtered animals can be also used without restrictions.
Storage:
Store in closed original package. Protect from light. Store separately from food and animal feeding at 4-35°С. Drug shelf life is 2 years from manufacturing date when stored in accordance with regulations.
